Fight Club is the resistance mode event that unites us all. It consists simply of a ring in which people from both factions fight to knock down. Some people have died in the process, but how did it all start?

It took literal years to develop into what it is today. Its origins lie in a fun idea, to have a "black market" or even an "underground" event where players could change the world setting into a gladiator fighting arena. This idea was going around in some minds during the alpha version of the game, but it didn't come to life until a group of soldiers, including MoroccoGeneral, Clockwise, and Askelon, managed to cheat the random spawn location in all of Deadlands whenever a town base or even a bunker base ran out of shirts. This wall-off caused the soldiers to organize and improvize a little fighting arena with sandbags. Askelon tells us about the origins of the Fight Club.

¨At the time, the war was practically over, the wardens were winning, and we weren't that far from their last town. The Collies were pretty drained of supplies, so a lot of them were just wilderness spawning with nothing. But instead of just going for the kill, a bunch of us just decided, eh, what the hell, let's start fist fighting.¨

The initial group that started it, at the very end of the World Conquest, found a Colonial soldier but did not execute him at first. They talked to this man, lost in the forest, and formed a circle with their bodies so he could fight with one of them in a one-on-onefist fight. The Colonial soldier lost, but he came back for another fight, and eventually even more Colonial soldiers joined in with the idea of a good fist fight. After all, they were losing the war.

Hours later, the improvised fighting ring that consisted of only Caovish and Velian bodies was transformed into a real ring with sand bags. However, gun fights were implemented into the improvised Fight Club, so the ring evolved into a fenced arena, with both Colonial and Warden encampments, a proper grandstand to watch the spectacle, and an inner sandbag ring that allowed the soldiers to have fun. The sight of Collies and Wardens engaging in boxing matches in the middle of the Deadlands nearly changed the entire atmosphere of the war. After a few more hours, the war suddenly ended due to the lack of manpower on both sides.

¨Too many people on both sides were in on it, so nobody could push and finish the war itself with what they had left lol¨

-Askelon

The following day, an organization was created. With Moroccan General as lead, the Fight Club became a regular occurance in the following wars. Recently, fight clubs have taken place in the Resistance Phase, and has become a tradition where Colonial and Warden forces lay down their weapons and raise their fists in fun and sport.
