WAR 96, DAY 540, THE GALLOWS, West Gate --- The Colonial siege of The Gallows was thwarted today by Warden troops operating an armoured locomotive. Owned and conducted by [HoC] member 'Reitrunich' the armoured train christened the 'Caliph of the Gallows' acted as a wall between the townhall and advancing Colonial armour. Moving along this single track, crewmembers such as [HoC] Danimalray, [27th] Nanomunchies, and [82DK] Captain Recruit were able to use the trains six 40mm cannons to devastating effect. The extreme firepower would ultimately halt the South-Eastern Colonial thrust forcing a withdrawal. Following the battle [HoC] Reitrunich would comment "This wont be the late time the caliph of gallows will be seen in West Gate.
