THE COLLAPSE OF WARDEN LINES

WAR 96, DAY 734-822 --- The bloodiest war seems to have reached a turning point the past few months, with the breaching of Warden lines. The west is no longer securely in Warden hands, while in the east, Colonial partisans are abound behind enemy lines.

After the Warden offensive on Day 734 in the regions of Origin and Ashtown, the Colonials have since responded with a chain of defensive operations and an amphibuous operation from the UPSS coalition to the town of Initium at northeastern part of Origin. What followed was the quick withdrawal of Warden forces from the region as Colonials mounted more and more pressure from multiple sides. At the east, Colonials including the [SOM], [T-3C] and [1CMD] regiments breached the lines at Weathered Expanse and Morgen's Crossing, forcing them to split their forces and concede Origin to be consolidated by the Colonials.

Stars began to fall on Day 800 when the MSA coalition launched the first ballistic rocket upon the town of Kirknell, Viper Pit. Wardens in the regions of Clanshead and Callahan's Passage suffered great losses in a short amount of time, leading to their further withdrawal from the central region of Deadlands, which had been the site of back and forth fighting all throughout the war.

Trench warfare seemingly came to a close as Colonials were able to advance throughout the Westgate- south Farranac region, prompting a blast from the past as the Warden [27th] regiment resorted to hitting Jade Cove with a rocket on Day 827. Our Colonial correspondents say that Colonials on the seem to be rather in agreement with this idea and did not attempt to prevent the rocket's launch. How much more the Wardens can take- and if they can reverse these Colonial gains- is anyone's guess.
