BRAZILIAN REGIMENT IN SHACKLED CHASM

Early-war advances by Wardens in Shackled Chasm. By Day 40, Colonials had recovered the town of Gorgon Grove.

WAR 97, DAY 1-48, SHACKLED CHASM, Southeast Frontline --- Above our heads, sirens wailed as the first shots marked the beginning of this war. Every battle is a new bloody one, and each bullet brings the tragic end of life. War, in essential, is a curse. A primitive sense of competition, circulating in our human's blood but, still, is a curse.

My reporting occurred on the frontline of Shackled Chasm, following the Colonial UPSS coalition and their efforts during the first phase of war. UBGE a mostly Brazilian-Portuguese regiment, was my one of my first contacts in the region.

Extract from an interview with UBGE General Commander Imperador Pedro II:

Q: Thank you for your time. So, the UBGE regiment is part of the UPSS coalition. How the other regiments (PARS, SAF and SHRED) distributed in the frontline?

A: We are all operating together, however the majority are operating with the lack of manpower.

Q: And you intend to secure your positions how?

A: It is a sensitive information. I cannot disclose to you at this time.

Q: Alright, sorry for asking. Next question: about the logistics, is the coalition providing the war material efforts for you, or does your own regiment mostly operate its own supply chain?

A: UBGE sustains its own logistics with it own, with capacity to supply all the frontline. We have a policy to only minimally depends on others' logistics, due to our manpower we are capable to produce and maintain our own forces.

Q: Alright. Do you want to make any final considerations?

A: Yes. Even with The South with a lack of men, the Wardens will not be able to breach for our defences, since when they meet us they will in the end to hit their faces in the wall.

Q: Okay, thank you once again for your time.

Although Warden forces seem to hold a numerical advantage in this early stage, it is undeniable that a confidence radiates from the Colonial side. Watching on as a reporter of the Press, not Colonial nor Warden, I just hope these boys get back home safe and sound. But war is a bloody circus. And for many of them this is their final act. God help them...
